Monolayer Graphene on TEM Grid

Beijing Graphene Institute graphene support film for Electron Microscopy enables the loading of biological macromolecules, single atoms and nanoparticles. The graphene support film exhibit negligible background noise and effectively alleviate the issues such as air-water interface, preferential orientation, thick ice layer, and particle movement, making it more convenient for users to achieve high-resolution imaging and structural analysis.

Our bottleneck so far has been finding the right kind of grids; both proteins in question are biochemically stable and robust, and we are just a few structures away from a publication. With that in mind, we would be very eager to purchase more as soon as possible, and further promote your product to the rest of our colleagues in our department. Let us know if that would be possible!

From the tests we could run, we can say that your grids have a very good quality in terms of the graphene film construction and placement on the grid. The characteristic diffraction peaks can be seen in 1st and 2nd order, and as the monolayer is very good there is a single pattern and not much noise from material impurities.

We’ve tried them and the data initially looks good. The graphene coverage seemed decent and mainly survived both the journey and the glow discharge
